We are a Managed Intelligence firm. We bring your scattered business information — sales, finance, operations, customer history — into one connected view, then build and run the layer that turns it into answers about your business as a whole. You are not buying a tool; you are buying the outcome. Think of it as a managed service, pointed at intelligence instead of just IT.
Is this consulting, or do you actually run it?
We run it. Consultants hand you a deck and leave; tool vendors hand you software and leave. We build the intelligence layer and then operate it as a managed service — autopilot, not copilot — and we are accountable for the result, not just the deliverable.
How do engagements usually start?
Most start with a 2–4 week Assessment. It is a fixed fee, and you walk away with a clear read on where you are, a 12-month plan, and an honest recommendation on your next step — even if it is not with us.
How much does the Fractional Chief Intelligence Officer cost?
It is a monthly retainer between $5,000 and $15,000, depending on scope. It covers monthly strategy time, quarterly reviews driven by your own data, ongoing roadmap work, and a second set of eyes on major systems decisions.
Who is Ascent Solutions a fit for?
Growing SMB and mid-market companies (roughly $10M–$100M in revenue) led by people who own the AI question — IT, COO, CEO, or founder — and who suspect they are stuck buying tools that do not add up to much. We are not a fit for "just pick the cheapest AI tool" requests.
Do you build it yourselves or hand it off to a partner?
Either. With the Build, we build and run it for you — connecting systems, standing up the intelligence layer, dashboards, and training. With the Blueprint, the plan is made so your own IT team or another implementation partner can build it if you prefer.
